I just started using this a couple of months ago so I can’t compare it to the original but this helps my congested nose sooo much. There is a strong hit of menthol when you use but it eases up within seconds. I’m happy to have this as it really helps my breathing.

For whatever reason, it does not seem to stretch its effectiveness through a whole night’s sleep. There is another variation, I think, that is designed for nighttime use.

Afrin was hard to find for a couple of weeks but had Afrin at what I considered a great price that arrived two days after order was placed. This Afrin no drip works much better than original spray bottle for me. Daily use is next to nothing now.
