We gifted this to a very grateful 7 year old. Each of the books were unique, fun, and engaging. The gift set came with a bookmark as well as a journal, it was a wonderful gift that nourishes the healthy palette or reading desires. Bad Kitty is a favorite at the local school I volunteer at, at this price this set just cannot be beat.

My daughter loves the Bad Kitty book series and wants to own all of them. I first looked at Barnes and Noble, but ultimately purchased her first set from because they are so much cheaper at .

I bought Bad Kitty and my students are enjoying reading them. Their response is that they LOVE Bad Kitty books! I’m happy because they are not only practicing reading but also developing a love for reading. It’s a win-win situation. An added bonus is that these books are Accelerated Reader books with the exception of the Journal, of course. Couldn’t be happier!

These are chapter books which are perfect for s first grader and up. The stories are quite funny, motivating, and entertaining. While the illustrations are adorable they are only in black and white. There are a few words that are used that are “questionable” and I really don’t want them to be written in a child’s book. There are 8 books, but one book was missing, and instead they replaced it with empty pages for the child to write. Would have much rather had that eighth book that was supposed to be in this set.

My daughter got these for Christmas last year when she was 7 and still carries them around everywhere she goes. She still busts out belly laughs reading these over and over.

Bad Kitty is a fun set of books and my grandkids love the stories. Not only are they funny, but Bad Kitty always seems to learn a lesson. Illustrations are great, too. There was a bookmark & journal included in this set. I like to buy book sets for birthdays & holidays. Kds really like to get a set so they have more than one to read and can continue with the characters.

My 8 year old daughter loves me to read to her but has struggled to learn how to read proficiently on her own. It has been daunting to find longer chapter books that capture her interest but don’t intimidate her with too many words on a page. We saw this set at one day and she begged to get it. From that day forward she happily read by herself, finishing this set in a handful of days, and growing so much confidence in her ability as a reader that she’s much more willing to try other books. So happy we purchased these!
