I wanted to try MCT oil to try and lessen my migraines and headaches. I have found that if I take it at the first feeling of a headache it lessens or eliminates the pain. I haven’t had a migraine to see how it works with that but I definitely will be keeping it on hand. My husband uses it for his coffee, he says it removes some of the bitterness and allows him to use less creamer and sugar. I don’t drink coffee but I like to add it to iced tea which makes the tea taste rich and creamy. I would definitely recommend for anyone looking to try MCT oil or looking for a different delivery from the oil/cream products. This powder easily dissolves in anything you put it in, hot or cold.

This is the first MCT Oil powder I’ve purchased that contains Silicon Dioxide as a “flowing agent”. I’d prefer to stay as pure as possible and forego the silicon dioxide that makes it take on a flour or fine sand like texture. Maybe this is easier to put in hot coffee and such, but I don’t mind my slightly more clumpy brand w/o silicon dioxide as I usually put it in the blender with other stuff anyway. This brand gets foamy and kind of yucky if blended too long. The packaging also doesn’t have the percentages or grams of the C8 and C10 broken down. Just says 9.5 grams MCT powder. Lauric Acid (C12) is not listed on the ingredients, so I assume is not present.

I’ve been trying to find an organic MCT powder and ordered this immediately. It dissolves nicely in my coffee. I just wish it didn’t have Maltodextrin, not a fan of this additive, which is why I rated it 4 stars. I can easily put some in a small container and keep it in my purse for coffee on the go.
