   I’ve taken this fo several years with good bone density scores. However, recent problems were diagnosed as excessive B6. I ignored the high amount in this supplement because I thought “water soluble” but aparently some peple do not flush out B6 in supplement form and it can build up in your body. B6 is not always tested for in a routine physical. If you take “B complex” the amount of B6 is 3 mg. Each of these pills contains 5 mg (2 are recommended per day) which is where my excess B6 came from. Beware! While not everyone’s body will react to this, I was surprised. I don’t know why they put such a large amount of B6 in this supplement when it is not even on the front label!

   Many people shovel Calcium into their bodies without Magnesium. Mostly every living Animal and plant needs calcium. We know in humans it builds strong bones, teeth and is vital for our nerves and muscles. In plants it builds strong cells and a much more protective cuticle. The reason I choose this calcium is the balance of Magnesium to Calcium ration.Calcium needs Magnesium for better and proper absorption, just like in plants. You’ll notice many advanced fertilizers state on their bag added CalMag formula. It’s also why I drink Whole Milk. Theres Magnesium in the fats.

   I have used the Kirkland brand of this product for years. As matter of fact, with very few exceptions, I prefer the Kirkland home brand for OTC products. I have found that they are exactly the same as the more pricier branded products.

   I’ve been using this product for about fifteen years in order to keep my bones healthy and to slow down osteoporosis. As a result, there has been very little change in my bone density over the years.

   I have trouble sleeping and have found that taking 2 capsules of this calcium citrate formula helps me relax and go to sleep. I guess it’s the vitamins and minerals that they added to the formula that makes the difference because other calcium products I’ve taken haven’t worked this well. And the price is great too!
