San Francisco Bay coffee is very consistent, never purchased Fog Chaser until 2021. OMG! This coffee is fantastic, smooth, strong, fruity flavor, and full of pleasant aromas while brewing and sipping. For pour-over you’ll need to adjust the grind to a slightly finer grind and and reduce the temperature to 180-190F (I use 185F). Cannot go wrong with Fog Chase, it is worth the slightly higher cost. Yummy!

5 star for quality per $. Excellent. On an absolute coffee flavor basis 4 star. This blend and Rain Forest is exactly the roast I prefer = Medium nearing Dark in Starbucks determination. Re region, my choice is East African and Yemen … Mocca Sanani (also like Sulawesi from Celebes).

i’m not a coffee snob, but i know unwanted bitterness when i taste it. happily i can report that i found this coffee to have a smooth flavor and a great value at this price. I like it better than SFbay coffee’s french roast and rainforest blend. of coure taste is subjective, but i hope this helps some of you.
